We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Inspector to join our team of professionals at SAFEbuilt. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work on a variety of construction projects and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

• Conduct field inspections during various stages of construction to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Examine plans and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure code compliance.
• Report violations and maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
• Perform other related duties as required to support the team and contribute to the success of the organization.

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology.
• Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide code-compliant solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of inspections and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.

• ICC Building Inspector certification or ability to obtain required.
• ICC Inspector certifications in additional trade(s) or ability to obtain required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
