Role Responsibilities

The Associate Campus Director of Financial Aid is responsible for overseeing the established financial aid program, ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting the mission and vision of FVI School of Nursing and Technology. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Administering financial aid programs on campus.
  2. Supervising a team of financial aid advisors.
  3. Advising students and families on financial aid options, application processes, and eligibility requirements through comprehensive reviews and documentation analysis.
  4. Assessing student financial needs and eligibility for aid programs, monitoring academic progress, processing awards, and handling appeals.
  5. Managing the disbursement of financial aid funds in accordance with regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborating with registrar, bursar, and accounting departments to ensure compliance in cash management.
  7. Staying informed on federal and state financial aid policies.
  8. Maintaining accurate records and reporting for compliance.
  9. Adhering to institutional policies as outlined in the Standard Policies and Procedures Manual.
  10. Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  11. Implementing best practices to support enrollment growth and service quality.
  12. Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Director of Student Finance.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, with a preference for candidates with over five years of experience.
  3. A strong understanding of various financial aid programs, scholarships, and grants.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  6. The ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  8. Unwavering integrity and professionalism.
  9. Sound judgment in decision-making.
  10. Proficiency in relevant software and database management, with experience in Campus Ivy being a plus.
  11. The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
