Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives and proposals for significant transportation projects independently. Analyze market trends, client requirements, and the competitive landscape to guide marketing strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including business development, project management, and technical specialists, to craft persuasive and competitive proposals.
  • Manage the proposal lifecycle from inception to submission, ensuring all deliverables are of high quality and compliant with standards.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct go/no-go evaluations and provide insights to senior management.
  • Develop and present marketing strategies and proposal content to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate proposal kick-off meetings.
  • Review RFPs and RFQs.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control for proposals.
  • Lead and conduct interviews.
  • Maintain and update team resumes and project descriptions.
  • Monitor and report on marketing metrics, win rates, and market intelligence.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff in marketing and proposal best practices.
  • Travel between offices and other locations may be necessary.
  • Flexible working hours may occasionally be required.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing or proposal coordination role, particularly in support of transportation prime proposals.
  • Proven track record in leading and securing proposals for transportation projects.
  • Strong comprehension of the transportation sector, including highways, rail, transit, and aviation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in proposal management software, InDesign, and other relevant tools.
