Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team at Radicle Health. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, document business requirements, and define key deliverables.
  • Develop and implement data quality processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor and maintain data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Document data pipelines and data models to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
  • Lead by example in developing and deploying scalable data solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as a data engineer, with a strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes.
  • Proficient in establishing data governance strategies, goals, principles, and policies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement data pipelines, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of database principles, including relational and NoSQL systems, data modeling techniques, and SQL standards.
  • Prior experience with Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Postgres/Azure SQL, Airflow, and Python is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and DBT.
