This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a strong community presence, long-term staff, and a commitment to integrity. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Managing the open enrollment process and benefits platform
  • Assisting employees with benefits enrollment and addressing benefits-related inquiries
  • Coordinating with benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits
  • Investigating and documenting workplace incidents
  • Managing the onboarding process for new hires
  • Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns
  • Facilitating and providing guidance on employee relations issues
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Creating job ads and implementing recruitment strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Continuously researching opportunities to improve HR processes and practices
  • Assisting the VP of HR on administrative tasks and HR-related projects
  • Contributing to committees promoting wellness and company communication

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or related industry
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

This is a 100% onsite position with generous benefits. The salary range is $75-$95K. Hire contingent upon passing background and drug test.
