Job Summary:

The Director of Studios is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and success of studios within their region. This role requires a strong focus on driving revenue, contributing to profitability, and developing talent. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-unit leadership, with experience in managing large teams and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Studio Performance Management: Manage a team of Area Managers and Head Coach Community Managers, focusing on studio performance, development, training, and recruiting.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Provide coaching and guidance to team members, including weekly check-ins, and complete [solidcore] coach training to gain a full understanding of the process and requirements.
  • Operational Management: Drive day-to-day leadership and operational management for one of the fastest-growing fitness brands.
  • Cross-Functional Objectives: Lead cross-functional business objectives to enable [solidcore] to achieve gains in profits, market share, and customer acquisition/retention/satisfaction.
  • Talent Development: Participate in the hiring, training, and developing of new Directors and Managers as needed.
  • Sales Growth Strategies: Develop sales growth strategies for studio memberships, class attendance, and packages.
  • Strategic Planning: Be accountable for strategic planning, studio operations implementation, and execution of [solidcore] studio programs and initiatives.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Launch and review reports and metrics, and follow up as needed.
  • Financial Performance: Work with Studio Managers to drive overall financial performance of studios.
  • Retention and Compliance: Examine retention rates and trends, and make adjustments for studios as needed. Be a role model and demand professionalism and team member compliance with [solidcore] company handbook.
  • Studio Experience: Ensure studio experience is aligned and consistent with the company's overall strategy, including service standards.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Visit all studios within their Region on a consistent basis and collaborate with the Leadership Team on key initiatives and strategy for overall [solidcore] vision and success.
  • Coach Training and Coaching: Participate in coach training and coaching in markets as needed.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a multi-unit leadership position.
  • Education: Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
  • Work Schedule: The position is full-time and exempt with an expected 40 hours worked per week (including classes coached).

Skills and Experience:

  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in hands-on customer service, hospitality, consumer goods, or service-based industry in a multi-unit environment.
  • High-Growth Experience: Prior experience in a high-growth/start-up company or firm.
  • Team Management: Prior experience managing a large team, ideally with remote direct reports.
  • P&L Management: Direct P&L Management.
  • Professional Maturity: Professional maturity; consistently conducts themselves in a professional manner that aligns with [solidcore]'s values.
  • Proactivity: Proactive, with the ability to anticipate business and customers' needs.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial and resourceful.
  • Management Experience: Strong management experience in training, mentoring, and motivating employees.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Fitness: Passion for fitness, wellness, and the [solidcore] brand.
