Hospice Care Management Opportunity

International Staff Consulting is seeking an experienced RN to fill the role of Patient Care Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing in our hospice team. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing company policies and mission by maintaining appropriate staffing levels, meeting set standards and goals to support the effective running of hospice operations and delivering outstanding patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Staff Supervision: Supervising, orienting, mentoring, developing, and evaluating patient care staff.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring compliance with agency policies, state and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Talent Acquisition: Participating in talent acquisition efforts to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • IDT Meetings: Coordinating and facilitating Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
  • Quality Assurance: Assisting with quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
  • Patient Case Load: Managing IDT process for multiple physicians and teams.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of hospice experience, a proven ability to manage a fast-paced independent work schedule, and a strong leadership presence. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, and valid Texas licensure is required.
