Job Title: Senior Manager, Finance and Grants

The United Nations Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Finance and Grants to join our Global Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to support the financial management, grant reporting, and strategic analysis of projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Global Health team budget, tracking revenues and expenses across the organization and workstreams.
  • Develop high-level funding briefs and other project briefing documents for senior leadership.
  • Manage donor proposal and reporting timelines and processes.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting calendar and matrix for the team.
  • Guide a collaborative process across the team to track progress against indicators and results frameworks as part of annual reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve issues associated with program and grant implementation.
  • Complete other special projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-6 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent operations, project management, organizational, budgeting, and logistical abilities.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and completing detailed financial reporting to donors.
  • Ability to provide high-level strategic analysis of projects and best practice recommendations to drive the Global Health Team's strategic goals and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Experience developing various agreement types (contracts, grants, contributions, MOUs).
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and prioritize multiple, competing priorities.
