Key Responsibilities:- Develop project budgets in collaboration with principal investigators, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with sponsor guidelines.
- Monitor project expenditures, track financial transactions, and reconcile accounts to ensure proper stewardship of grant funds.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines governing research administration, such as federal regulations (e.g., Uniform Guidance), institutional policies, and sponsor requirements.
- Facilitate contract negotiations with industry partners, government agencies, and other external entities.
- Support Program Managers in the preparation of progress reports, financial reports, and other required documentation to funding agencies and sponsors in accordance with grant requirements and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or an Accounting field is required - Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years prior experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of awards at least $50M in value.
- Subaward management experience - including training and capacity building.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools - e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Workday/GMS.
- Credentialed as a Certified Research Administrator.
