Accounting Manager

Spectrum Vascular is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of treasury and tax, monthly reporting and consolidation, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage treasury and tax functions, including banking and credit card relationships, cash reporting, and vendor ACH/Wires.
- Prepare and distribute daily cash reporting, book transfers, and vendor ACH/Wires.
- Administer and manage insurance relationships.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings, including maintaining a monthly closing calendar.
- Implement and enforce adherence to all accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and purchasing, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and PO tracking.
- Manage accounts receivable, including oversight of third-party firm processing invoicing and collections.
- Establish and oversee new customer creation.
- Manage inventory, including oversight of third-party firm distribution center managing inventory.
- Quarterly evaluate excess and obsolete inventory accruals.
- Annual inventory standards roll forward process.
- Provide oversight to payroll functions, including ensuring appropriate segregation of duties over input and approval functions.
- Review and approve all payroll cycles, ensuring proper controls exist for timely and accurate payroll tax and employee elective benefit withholding, manual check issuances, and employer contribution payments.
- Partner with the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to ensure cost allocations are current and appropriate.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including ownership for certain administrative and social enterprises budgets.
- Act as fiscal representative, supporting the Administrative and Social Enterprises financial/analysis needs.
- Manage annual fiscal audits, including supplying timely and comprehensive account analyses and audit documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a startup environment or PE firm.
- Excellent professional written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Considered a plus: CPA, MBA, MS Dynamics experience.
