Job Title: Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Operose Manufacturing LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service and ERP Support professional to provide excellent customer service while assisting in the management of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting our internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing prompt and accurate information.
    • Assist customers with order processing, while adhering to company policies.
    • Support the RFQ process.
    • Maintain and update customer records in the ERP system.
  • ERP Support:
    • Assist in the daily operations of the ERP system, ensuring data entry and updates are accurate.
    • Support raw material purchasing by maintaining inventory levels, placing orders, and tracking deliveries.
    • Provide basic support and training to staff on ERP functionalities as needed.
    • Generate routine reports and assist in data analysis to help improve processes.
    • Collaborate with the ERP Administrator to implement system updates and enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to facilitate order fulfillment and resolve discrepancies.
    • Participate in team meetings to share customer feedback and suggest improvements.
    • Help maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for customer service and ERP processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic familiarity with ERP systems is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in inventory management or purchasing is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn ERP software.
