Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to identify current and prospective hiring targets for domestic University and Technical College recruitment programs.
- Talent Sourcing: Analyze campus recruitment needs by modeling hiring targets against historical acceptance rates, percentage of offers made, and applications from each institution.
- Recruitment Strategy: Develop strategies and process improvements for managing campus and military base recruiting efforts, including:
- Target Identification: Identify target campuses and military bases.
- Team Coordination: Coordinating recruiting teams and defining their roles.
- Pre-Campus, On-Campus, and Post-Campus Strategies: Creating pre-campus, on-campus, and post-campus strategies.
- Tracking and Reporting: Tracking on-campus participation and activities, and managing charitable contribution requirements.
- Branding and Marketing: Branding and marketing with universities, students, and veterans.
- Candidate Management: Managing candidate tracking systems and offer processes.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead recruitment efforts alongside campus teams to secure top-tier new grad and intern candidates, aligning with University Tier targets.
- Metrics and Reporting: Maintain historical records for new grads, interns, and co-ops, and produce metrics reports to be included in the Talent Acquisition Group's reporting.
- University Relations: Build and strengthen university relations to enhance campus presence by acting as a liaison with educational department heads and engaging with professional/student organizations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action plans related to staffing.
- Summer Intern Program: Plan and oversee the summer intern program, including:
- Intern Onboarding: Onboarding interns.
- Summer Projects: Assigning defined summer projects or assignments.
- Mentorship: Identifying mentors for each intern.
- Summer Events: Coordinating summer field trips, tours, and end-of-summer poster presentations.
- Intern Evaluation: Leading intern evaluation meetings and facilitating full-time job offers.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in university recruitment preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables and formulas), and PowerPoint.
- Soft Skills: Strong diplomacy skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to collaborate with functional and line management, strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Teams, and general experience with employee policies and benefits administration.
