Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive course syllabus for each class, adhering to established institutional standards.
  • Manage a full-time teaching schedule effectively.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to academic services beyond standard teaching duties, including student advising and participation in university committees.
  • Stay updated in the discipline and deliver courses in accordance with the approved curriculum and institutional guidelines.
  • Contribute to collaborative and applied research across various fields, including support for grant applications and data analysis on funded projects.
  • Conduct teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and program evaluations for accreditation purposes.
  • Provide academic and career guidance to students.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of technology, learning management systems, and relevant software applications (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, PowerCampus, Jenzabar, LinkedIn Learning).
  • Be prepared to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the department head that are logically related to the role.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and LinkedIn Learning.

  • Capable of teaching through various modalities, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activities, including handling objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A completed (or anticipated) Ph.D. or DBA in Management, Management Science, Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, Operations Management, Operations Research, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant teaching area.
  • At least six years of experience at the rank of assistant professor.
  • Expertise in teaching business analytics and applied statistics, with experience in experiential and active learning methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction in the academic discipline.
  • Evidence of a sustained commitment to impactful service and scholarly contributions that enhance the university's reputation.
  • Demonstrated ongoing professional development and growth.
