Adjunct Professor of Finance

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Instructor to join our team at Florida Memorial University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching finance courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student performance.

• Teaching: Teach finance courses to undergraduate students, including introductory and advanced courses.
• Course Development: Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
• Student Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of student performance, including midterm and final evaluations.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement new finance courses and programs.
• Service: Participate in departmental and institutional service activities, including committee work and professional development.

• Education: Doctorate in finance or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of finance-related field experience and two years of teaching experience, including experience teaching online and in-person courses.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, LinkedIn Learning, and Jenzabar technology suite for higher education.
• Other: Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends.

• Experience: Experience teaching in higher education and familiarity with the Jenzabar technology suite.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with diverse constituents, and proficiency in using data in assessment and decision making.
