Autocad Drafter

We are seeking an experienced Autocad Drafter to join our team at Twin Stone Designs And Installation, Inc. As an Autocad Drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and illustrations using AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

• Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including proposals and summaries.
• Attend scope review and buy-out meetings with the business development team.
• Review current project information daily and apply revisions and addendum specifications as needed.
• Manage ITB's, handle RFI's, and process cost requests.
• Track estimating workload and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with the field team, project administration, and other staff members for job coordination and production schedule development.
• Prepare analytical reports and spreadsheets to evaluate estimates and jobs from different perspectives.

AutoCAD Drafting:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of AutoCAD and geometry.
• Analyze blueprints and bid data specifications to prepare material and labor estimates.
• Prepare CAD drawings and illustrations in accordance with established format requirements and drawing standards.
• Revise existing drawings based on verbal explanations, sketches, and marked-up prints.
• Analyze technical and electronic data, designs, and specifications to successfully manufacture products.
• Maintain accurate records and files in the system and in proper order.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Requirements:

Two (2) years of experience in drafting, construction, and estimating.

Knowledge of Autodesk, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Excel, and "Take Off" software.
