Role Overview:
This position is pivotal in steering the Design, Development, Release, and Validation of various electronic modules utilized across our vehicle platforms. You will ensure comprehensive awareness of program deliverables, manage development timelines alongside engineering teams, and act as a primary liaison with suppliers throughout the development process.

The Senior Electronics Program Manager role demands a high degree of initiative, independent judgment, and leadership skills. This position involves collaboration with global electronics suppliers and internal development teams to bring both current and future technologies into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with electronics architecture and design teams to formulate engineering schedules, meticulously monitor program progress, and ensure alignment with overall vehicle deliverable timelines.
  • Lead the development and integration of electronic systems through design reviews, guaranteeing that all pre-production builds are adequately supported for successful vehicle launches.
  • Identify potential programmatic risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, proactively addressing issues and removing obstacles to meet deadlines.
  • Work alongside vehicle line, software, electrical, mechanical, and other teams to pinpoint and drive critical paths, ensuring synchronized deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the supply chain to guarantee timely delivery of components and assemblies for prototype builds.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Integration and Electrical Systems to ensure the successful delivery and integration of electronic assemblies.
  • Facilitate the release of all engineering documentation to support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Assist purchasing efforts as necessary to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Plan project budgets and maintain forecasts, including risk registers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in leading technical programs or equivalent roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical hardware design, development, validation, and integration processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and drive the progress of multiple projects.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to exceeding expectations and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse audiences.
  • High-level analytical skills to address unusual and complex problems.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support builds.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range for California Based Candidates: $121,000 - $151,000; actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
