Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at The Vertex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the progress of construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to understand the project's objectives, scope, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract documents, including plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking milestones, deadlines, and budget expenditures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and address quality assurance and control issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project stakeholders on construction management best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site visits, inspections, and meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction superintendence or project management, with a strong background in construction management processes and practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software, including Procore or similar platforms.
