Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  2. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and effective communication.
  3. Monitor and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
  4. Lead and manage construction personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  5. Collaborate with project owners, DOT, and resident engineers to address and resolve any issues that may arise.
  6. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, expenses, and personnel.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  4. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  5. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
  6. OSHA 30 Certification.
  7. BS - Civil Engineer/Construction Management.
