Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Site Management: Supervise field personnel, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain daily contact with project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain construction schedules, identify and solve problems, and ensure accurate as-built drawings.
  • Quality Control: Ensure quality workmanship, inspect subcontractor work, and review pay applications.
  • Change Management: Coordinate and negotiate change order pricing with subcontractors.
  • Safety Management: Maintain accurate safety documentation, submit safety reports, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Material Procurement: Source and procure materials for self-performance work.
  • Inspections: Schedule and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (desirable but not required).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with 5 years as a construction superintendent on similar projects.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera scheduling software, and able to interpret construction drawings and schedules.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification, CPR, and First Aid certification.
Working Environment

The Construction Superintendent will work in an indoor/outdoor setting with a diverse range of people, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

The role requires physical stamina, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions.
