  • Engage effectively with various departments and external stakeholders.
  • Design and execute customer-centric, risk-aware procurement strategies to gain a competitive edge.
  • Mentor and manage the procurement team, setting clear performance indicators.
  • Supervise all procurement operations.
  • Ensure team members possess essential skills through training and support.
  • Assist the team in clarifying procurement processes.
  • Act as the primary supply chain liaison for business leaders, providing essential supply information.
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve operational, supplier, and financial objectives.
  • Guarantee adherence to procurement protocols and approvals.
  • Address supply challenges, conflicts, and risks with the procurement team.
  • Facilitate supplier engagement initiatives, including negotiations and performance assessments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A University Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory for access to certain information.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in inventory management systems and processes, including ERP.
  • Background in supply and demand forecasting.
  • Familiarity with government procurement and contract management.
