About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Asurint. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying innovative BI solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop BI solutions for internal and external customers, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with IT peers and business partners to identify and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics platforms, including database queries, stored procedures, and views.
  • Provide technical mentorship and cross-training to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by performing regular system checks and implementing remediation efforts as needed.
  • Support operational systems by troubleshooting and testing, ensuring seamless integration with BI tools.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Hands-on expertise with database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
  • High level of expertise in developing ETL packages/processes using tools like Fivetran/DBT, custom reports using Google BigQuery, and dashboards using BI dashboard tools.
  • Strong knowledge in developing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Experience working with data and platforms related to Sales, Operations, and Finance is preferred.
  • JSON/XML knowledge is required.
  • Experience with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Fivetran/DBT is required.
