Peopleshare is seeking a dedicated and efficient Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role requires someone who can maintain a close and responsive relationship with the Director and Team Leaders, assuming various delegated administrative and clerical responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Compliance: Maintain effective communication to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Scheduling and Operations: Support operations related to scheduling, outpatient census, admissions, discharges, room scheduling, and obtaining necessary documentation.
- Office Management: Operate and maintain office equipment such as computers, copiers, and fax machines.
- File Management: Establish and maintain file systems for outpatient admissions, general business files, etc.
- Scheduling Meetings: Attend scheduling meetings and support actionable items related to scheduling, admissions, discharges, and conflict resolutions.
- Client Payments: Ensure client payments are collected and processed accurately at the time services are rendered.
- Process Updates: Stay up-to-date with processes related to admissions, insurance therapy, and authorization functions.
- Therapy Schedules: Accurately complete all actions related to therapy schedules in a timely manner, ensuring full optimization of therapist time.
- Appointment Filling: Support the filling of cancelled or no-show appointments by maintaining a client reference list.
- Business Functions: Understand and document business functions needed in applications and therapy schedules pertaining to admissions, discharges, transfers, and clients placed on hold.
- Client Information: Distribute necessary copies of client demographic and insurance authorization information to clinical team members.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical front desk role.
- Familiarity with insurance processes and medical software.
- Experience with Raintree software is a plus.
