Senior Personnel Specialist

The Inspector General's Office is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Personnel Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Transactions and Benefits Team, you will be responsible for the most complex and challenging personnel/payroll issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and resolve critical personnel problems, recommending alternative solutions while ensuring compliance with State laws, rules, and regulations.
- Manage personnel record keeping, certification, payroll, and personnel document processing with exceptional attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with various control agencies and departmental staff.
- Exercise discretion in discussing work-related matters and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in personnel/payroll administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
