Job Summary

This position is located in the Department of Fish and Wildlife and is responsible for performing personnel and payroll transactions and leave administration. The incumbent works at the expert journey level and is responsible for independently researching critical and complex personnel and payroll problems and recommending solutions; functioning as a lead over lower level staff; and acting as the assigned coordinator of various personnel and payroll programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of personnel and payroll transactions and leave administration
  • Independently research critical and complex personnel and payroll problems and recommend solutions
  • Function as a lead over lower level staff
  • Act as the assigned coordinator of various personnel and payroll programs

Working Conditions

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. Ability to use a computer/laptop and telephone is essential, as the majority of the work is performed using a computer/laptop and telephone. Occasional stooping or bending to access files. Computer usage is frequent or repetitive.
