Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of benefits strategies encompassing health and wellness, retirement options, paid leave, disability coverage, and leave management, ensuring alignment with our organizational values.
  • Advocate for global benefits initiatives, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), wellness initiatives, and effective communication strategies across diverse regions.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the benefits strategy and vision for various products, fostering consensus and alignment with key stakeholders by analyzing industry trends and benchmarks.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on benefits, designing and deploying competitive offerings on a global scale.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global benefits landscape, providing insights into both the technical aspects of benefits administration and market dynamics.
  • Manage benefit communication resources, including internal wikis, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
  • Coordinate annual benefit plan renewals while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide front-line support for daily benefits administration, covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, COBRA, and leave of absence programs.
  • Lead daily operations related to data troubleshooting, employee inquiries, and general issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency across all regions through meticulous process documentation and vendor management.
  • Manage all aspects of benefits onboarding for new hires, terminations, and qualifying events in collaboration with carriers and HRIS.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefit records.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in benefits program design, management, and communication, with practical exposure to international benefits.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to dissect problems into manageable data sets, utilizing Google Sheets or Excel for solution modeling.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present, document, and facilitate discussions effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities grounded in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, particularly in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Familiarity with general HR processes, compliance, and integrated payroll systems.
  • Experience with Workday systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CEBS or CCP is highly desirable.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of leave of absence policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of global benefits practices.
