Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in supporting the departmental efficiencies of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Perform scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Patient Demographic Collection: Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liability Collection: Employ proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.
  • Financial Clearance: Complete assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtain insurance authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services, and secure inpatient visit notification to payors.
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service, greeting customers following Conifer Standards of Care, and resolving physician's office and patient issues.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year in a customer service role; 0-1 year administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
  • Skills: Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm; demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer; customer service skills and experience; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications.
