**Job Summary**

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, communicating with departments, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Greet patients in a polite and prompt manner, providing any necessary instructions or directions.
  • Inform appropriate departments of patient arrival and oversee the waiting area.
  • Answer phones in a pleasant manner and deal with patient needs expeditiously.
  • Use EMR to generate information necessary for billing and verify patient information.
  • Collect copays, obtain patient signatures, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Manage, direct, and monitor coding activities, including distributing daily charge tickets to the billing company.
  • Schedule surgeries, outpatient appointments, and admissions, and send/receive patient medical records.
  • Assist physicians with clerical tasks, coordinate service requests, and maintain the clinic office and equipment.
  • Inform the administrator of operational problems and assist with training and supervision of staff.

**Requirements**

  • High school graduate
  • Minimum 1 year clinic experience
  • Computer programs/EMR skills

**Pay Range**

$11.41 - $15.69 /hour
