Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing various aviation-related projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years in project management within the aviation sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage aviation projects funded by federal and state agencies.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, bidding, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws.
  • Develop project specifications and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements:

Employees may need to perform tasks involving intermittent sitting, standing, and lifting light equipment up to 20 pounds.
