Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telemedicine Care Coordinator to join our team at Concentra Career Choice. As a Telemedicine Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and obtain medical histories from patients; verify patient information
  • Coordinate patient care through video intake calls
  • Collect and document patient information, including demographics, chief complaint, review of medications, and allergies
  • Screen and triage patients based on intake questions
  • Route patients to Concentra doctors or other appropriate care
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, contacting patients and customers, and answering calls
  • Document patient information in electronic medical records

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience with patient interaction via phone and video, preferred
  • At least one year of working in a healthcare office environment, required
  • Bilingual - conversational fluent in English and Spanish, a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility
  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and propose quality solutions
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a tactful and professional manner
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
  • Intermediate knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office, and entry of data into various systems/applications
  • Effective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers, and other employees
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment and independently when required
  • Knowledge of telemedicine a plus
