We are in search of skilled Dining Operations Managers for our New York City establishments. This role offers the chance to collaborate across various departments while primarily concentrating on team excellence and consistent attention to detail. Our Dining Operations Managers oversee all facets of the restaurant, including driving sales and profitability, ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing banquet sales, marketing initiatives, and effectively guiding our team through recruitment, training, and development. Your Responsibilities:

  • Guide the restaurant and team members to guarantee an outstanding guest experience every day.
  • Manage all bar operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts, focusing on guest relations, supervising front-of-house staff, maintaining restaurant ambiance, and ensuring the quality of food and beverage items, including conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Implement and uphold all company policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, service, and operations while ensuring employee adherence.
  • In collaboration with the Beverage Director/General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, achieve human resource objectives by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and communicating job expectations; monitoring performance; and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate efficiency in completing tasks by working with urgency, consolidating responsibilities, delegating effectively, and empowering team members.

We Seek Candidates Who:

  • Possess 2-4 years of experience in Restaurant Management, ideally in Beverage or high-volume casual or fine dining settings.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment with annual sales exceeding millions.
  • Have strong computer skills and familiarity with Aloha, Open Table, Excel, Word, and timekeeping software, along with sound judgment for timely decision-making.
  • Exhibit a passion for service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills when interacting with management, servers, team members, and guests.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Are reliable, dependable, and focused on both guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Have the flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
