Our three divisions cater to clients from fifteen strategically located manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Canada.
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute job functions as trained and directed.
- Fulfill all tasks associated with the assigned primary role.
- Ensure timely movement of orders through the production process.
- Assist and cover various workstations as necessary to maximize production efficiency.
- Monitor production outputs and complete necessary documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues on the production line as they occur.
- Adhere to all safety protocols diligently.
- Detect any quality concerns with orders and propose effective solutions or corrections.
- Collaborate closely with team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Availability to work a minimum of 9 hours per day, 5 days a week, with potential overtime as required.
- Support the 5S/lean program by maintaining organized and clean workstations.
- Multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Work independently and collaboratively to promote an engaging workplace.
- Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Strong understanding of a multi-station production environment.
- Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Self-motivated and capable of performing assigned duties effectively.
- Competence in reviewing personal and team work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with basic production tools and equipment, following proper training.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Willingness to learn about all products and processes offered.
- Effective communication skills with all team members.
- Flexibility to transition to new tasks as needed to ensure coverage across work areas.
- Capability to lift 35-50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- All team members are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct and adhere to attendance policies.
Ability to sit for extended periods, with finger dexterity for writing, typing, and using a calculator. Adequate vision for viewing small print and computer screens is necessary. Ability to communicate verbally and audibly, walk throughout facilities, and perform occasional light lifting (up to 25 pounds), as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Travel between multiple facilities may be required to fulfill core job responsibilities.
