Job Description

The Rock Creek Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Operations Vice President to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of deliverables and preparing plans, schedules, and documentation for stakeholders within the company and externally.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process Improvement: Utilize technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
  • Document Management: Prepare and review documents, extract data in multiple formats, and manage a wide variety of document types.
  • Transaction Tracking: Create and maintain matrices for tracking and updating the status of transactions.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong interest in investment management documentation and organization, who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in legal/documentation execution in an investment management/legal environment. A JD is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and AWS. Experience with project management tools such as Asana and Slack is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
  • Agility: Effective operation under tight turnarounds with a focus on quality and consistent execution with attention to detail.
