Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording vital signs and medical histories
  • Assisting in medical procedures, including instrument preparation and sterilization
  • Preparing patients for medical examinations and administering injections
  • Entering specimens, anatomy, and medications into the lab computer
  • Inventorying sample closets and assessing equipment, instruments, and supplies

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • Experience working in an OB/GYN setting preferred
  • Experience working with Athena Health or other EMR systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and communicate with patients and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
