Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic/EEG Technologist, whether experienced or a recent graduate, to become a vital member of our skilled team in this essential role.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential alternative shift options. Call duty every fourth week/weekend, with additional compensation for call, weekend, and evening shifts.
  • Conduct STAT and Routine EEGs, as well as continuous long-term monitoring EEG studies in an acute hospital environment for patients of all ages.
  • Monitor the brain's electrical activity using EEG and evoked potential technologies.
  • Document the functionality of the peripheral nervous system through evoked potential technology in clinical and intraoperative settings.
  • Initiate appropriate interventions based on the interpretation of patient condition changes and extract relevant information from patient records.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot medical and general support equipment.
  • Complete testing for reports, manage charging procedures, prepare patient rooms, stock supplies, and communicate with supervisory staff as necessary.

Required Education and Certification:

  • Graduation from an accredited program in EEG/Neurodiagnostic Technology.
  • Registration in EEG (R. EEG T.) or Evoked Potentials (R. EP T.) from the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists is required within two years of employment.
