Overview:
The Head of IT Infrastructure and Security Operations will oversee the IT Infrastructure and Security team. This role encompasses the design, configuration, and management of the server architecture for CDS Life Transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the comprehensive planning, design, and execution of CDS's infrastructure and security frameworks.

Architect and implement new server solutions (both physical and cloud-based) and applications, alongside enhancements to existing systems.

Engage with the IT department, CDS personnel, vendors, and other organizations to identify and deploy effective solutions.

Evaluate intricate business scenarios to propose and implement technical resolutions.

Ensure the security of servers and applications through a variety of tools and methodologies.


Participate in server and security assessments, system backup protocols, and recovery procedures in alignment with the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Collaborate with colleagues and users/customers to deliver professional, courteous, and prompt support and services as required.

Offer technical guidance, training, and support to fellow IT staff.

Consistently maintain technical and procedural documentation.

Independently pursue knowledge and skills to stay updated with technological advancements.

Perform additional duties as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of Virtualization, Microsoft Windows Servers, Windows Active Directory, and Group Policies.

Proficient in Microsoft Azure, Office365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, and SharePoint.

Strong understanding of networking principles (SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls) and related equipment (routers, switches, WAPs, etc.).

Familiarity with AWS.

Experience with security tools such as EDR/MDR/XDR, SIEM, DNS Filters, and RMM/MDM tools.

Proven experience in migrating physical infrastructure to cloud environments.

Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation.

Experience in environments handling PHI, PII, or other sensitive data.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while working collaboratively.

Capability to lead implementation efforts and technology-related projects while mentoring staff.

Self-motivated individual who can quickly and independently grasp new technologies.

Excellent communication and writing abilities.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

A minimum of five years of experience managing infrastructure teams.

Preferred experience in cloud implementation and support (AWS/Azure/Office 365).

Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or VCP are preferred but not mandatory.

Experience with privacy and security frameworks like NIST SP is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in executing enterprise solutions in a dynamic, technologically diverse setting.


The salary range reflects the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting.


Salary Determination:
Compensation will be based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, position-specific licensing/training, and departmental budgets.
