Job Summary

As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at Prisma Health, you will provide patient care through direct operational and clinical services. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance departmental and institutional programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and pharmaceutical excellence through direct patient care activities as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Develop and implement health care education programs for GHS nursing, pharmacy, and medical staff.
  • Ensure accurate order-entry, drug distribution, and clinical pharmaceutical care.
  • Participate in department and institutional committees and projects.
  • Provide concise and timely responses for drug information requests and other pharmaceutical care services.
Requirements
  • PharmD + 2 residencies or 1 residency and BCPS or 2 BCPS.
  • 1 year of hospital pharmacy practice including patient-focused care.
  • SC Registered Pharmacist.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
  • Experience utilizing postgraduate programs, certificate programs, or Board certification.
Work Environment

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. The work environment is variable, and the location is Richland, with the facility being 1510 Richland Hospital.
