Job Summary
We're seeking a seasoned Sous Chef who shares our enthusiasm for delivering extraordinary culinary experiences. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Executive Chef in crafting innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and providing outstanding service to our guests. Your leadership skills, creativity, and passion for excellence will inspire your colleagues and elevate our culinary offerings.
About You
We're looking for someone with 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or related field is preferred. You'll be knowledgeable about various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and industry trends. Your knife skills should be exceptional, and you'll have excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster positive working relationships with diverse personalities.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include leading kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef, inventively solving issues, training kitchen staff, establishing schedules, interviewing and hiring employees, maintaining budgeted labor costs, ensuring timely food production, participating in service education, and maintaining cleanliness standards. You'll also assist in meeting financial targets while achieving food quality and service objectives.
About the Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
