Vendador, a luxury private dining company in Chicago, Illinois, offers an exclusive culinary experience.
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Sous Chef to join our team starting January 27th, 2025. As a critical member of the culinary team, a successful Executive Sous Chef will prioritize positivity, passion, and flexibility.
Key responsibilities include directing the team to deliver consistent execution of food and timely flow of service, managing your station each day, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring all recipes meet specifications and commitment to culinary excellence.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in a collaborative and food-forward environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working out of clients' homes.
A valid driver's license is required as operating our company van is sometimes necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the team to deliver consistent food execution and timely service
- Manage your station daily, including cleaning and stocking
- Foster a positive work environment with clear communication
- Ensure recipes meet specifications and commitment to culinary excellence
