Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a driven and skilled HVAC Cost Estimator/Commercial Sales Representative to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in networking and relationship management, along with proficiency in HVAC estimation. This position entails a blend of office and field responsibilities, including preparing estimates, nurturing client relationships, and promoting sales growth within the commercial HVAC domain.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee estimating, design, application support, procurement, submittal review, and job coordination.
  • Precisely estimate plans and specifications to design/build HVAC systems utilizing computer estimating systems and related software.
  • Experience in sourcing and assessing material, direct labor, manufacturer equipment pricing, and subcontractor quotes.
  • Analyze plans and specifications, identifying discrepancies and understanding how to address them effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, contractors, and industry professionals.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate HVAC requirements, prepare comprehensive estimates, and offer customized solutions.
  • Manage multiple bids throughout the entire bidding process concurrently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess changes and adapt swiftly during the bidding process.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and finalize sales agreements.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and monitor performance metrics to meet sales objectives.
  • Handle documentation, including contracts, estimates, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in HVAC sales, with a solid background in networking and relationship management.
  • Expertise in HVAC estimation and a comprehensive understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel for site evaluations.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of HVAC sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Public Works Contracting (government bidding).
  • Experience with public works and public bidding processes.
