Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned HVAC Sales Consultant to join our thriving family-owned HVAC company. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, demonstrating a robust understanding of both the technical aspects of HVAC systems and client relationship management. This role encompasses a mix of office responsibilities and fieldwork, including sales calls, job pricing, and nurturing client relationships. You will collaborate closely with the owner and sales manager, emphasizing customer education and transparency throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to warm lead inquiries, verifying lead details, contacting leads, and arranging your own estimates.
- Conducting sales calls and guiding customers through the process of acquiring a new HVAC system, culminating in closing sales.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Performing site assessments to evaluate HVAC requirements, providing accurate pricing, and preparing comprehensive proposals.
- Engaging in outside sales calls to create new business opportunities and enhance revenue growth.
- Negotiating contracts, finalizing sales agreements, and overseeing the entire sales cycle.
- Managing administrative duties, including documentation, contract oversight, and follow-up communications.
- Effectively navigating a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, with a proven history in client relations and negotiation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel for sales engagements.
Job Requirements:
- Professional demeanor and polished presentation in both speech and appearance.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Understanding of pricing mechanisms and their variability.
- Strong negotiation skills and customer service orientation.
- Apprentice-level knowledge of HVAC system setups.
- Preferred experience in the HVAC field.
