Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Berk Enterprises as a Reception and Culinary Associate.

Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests and preparing a diverse range of food items, all while ensuring a tidy and efficient kitchen environment.

You will collaborate closely with our staff to guarantee that our patrons enjoy a memorable experience.



Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with any inquiries or issues they may encounter.
  • Manage the cash register and process various payment methods including cash and credit cards.
  • Support the organization and scheduling of events and gatherings.
  • Prepare food items such as pizzas, snacks, and desserts following established guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, including all tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Assist in the receipt and storage of food supplies and equipment deliveries.
  • Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Operate kitchen appliances such as ovens and mixers.
  • Contribute to daily and weekly inventory checks and supply ordering.
  • Participate in menu planning and promotional activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.


Qualifications and Skills

Essential Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.

Skills: Ability to use kitchen equipment and accurately follow recipes.

Attributes: Strong attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



Physical Requirements
  • Capability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.


Education

A high school diploma or GED is required, or relevant experience in a similar role.
