Your Role

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing distributed backend services that serve as the core of our platform. Your role will require a comprehensive understanding of system components and the ability to evaluate trade-offs in your design decisions.

You will leverage the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver optimal results. This position offers a unique chance to shape new product architecture and contribute to its development from the ground up.

Your Contributions
  • Evaluate requirements, design, develop, and maintain highly scalable software features and infrastructure for our next-generation security platform.
  • Produce clean, testable, and maintainable code that performs efficiently for a vast user base.
  • Oversee the testing of critical product components, considering the complexities of various platforms and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, SRE, and Customer Support teams to enhance customer outcomes.
  • Foster a results-driven culture with a strong emphasis on quality and execution.
  • Mentor and guide team members, while innovating around tools and processes.
  • Document design specifications, software development standards, and best practices.
  • Advocate for architectural improvements based on emerging technologies and business needs.
  • Effectively communicate project goals and complex concepts to internal teams.
Your Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in developing complex, high-scale SaaS solutions, preferably with expertise in Golang.
  • A strong passion for software engineering and a drive to excel.
  • Experience in creating cloud-distributed applications and infrastructures.
  • Solid understanding of computer science principles, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable REST APIs and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and monitoring/tracing of application logs.
  • Experience managing DevOps, SRE, and reliability for large cloud products.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based architectures across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
