The NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC) team is in search of dedicated software engineers who are eager to collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders and facilitate their integration into our platform. This collaboration necessitates a thorough understanding of customer requirements, the functioning of their applications, and assisting them in establishing best practices that ensure success in a multi-tenant cloud setting.

NVIDIA seeks a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in infrastructure to join the NGC Cloud Foundations Automation team as a senior contributor. Our team is responsible for constructing and overseeing the automation framework that supports NVIDIA's GPU Cloud and NVIDIA SuperPod deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage extensive development expertise and a drive for innovation.
  • Guide the transformation of our workflows and organization into a centrally managed configuration management system, functioning at scale across various regions.
  • Take ownership of and lead integrations with diverse service APIs, including Cloud Service Providers, to automate environment creation and data source population.
  • Enhance open-source intent software by designing and implementing data structures and user interfaces to automate processes from equipment procurement to device configuration and deployment.
  • Optimize deployment strategies and lifecycle operations.
  • Develop contemporary service architectures centered around streaming data and event pipelines.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure Domain Experts to create true, zero-touch deployment solutions and implement top-tier high-performance computing management strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our services and improve customer experiences.
  • Foster communication with peers across the organization, building relationships and collaborating effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in developing complex web-based user interfaces (JavaScript/CSS & HTML).
  • Strong foundation in automation, networking, and hyperscale cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go/Golang, Configuration Management, Microservices/containerized application development, and Django.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, highly interactive environment.

The compensation range for this position is between 164,000 USD and 310,500 USD. Your salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the compensation of employees in similar roles.
