INNOVATION AT THE FOREFRONT:
This full-time position provides a flexible work arrangement, allowing for 2-3 days per week in the office.
As our Lead Software Engineer in Ultrasound Imaging, you will take charge of initiatives aimed at improving the quality, precision, and interpretation of ultrasound images for our innovative ultrasound system. Your duties will include fine-tuning imaging pipeline configurations, creating imaging processing tools using Python, and streamlining image quality assessments. You will also work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of ultrasound imaging systems. Your contributions will foster innovation and guarantee effective data acquisition, processing, and visualization, making a significant impact on medical imaging technology.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- 5+ years of professional experience in medical imaging product development
- Knowledge of ultrasound physics, signal and image processing, simulation, algorithm development, or tool creation
- Expertise in programming with Python or C++
- A strong passion for medical devices, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in electrical or biomedical engineering with a focus on ultrasound imaging
- Experience in medical software development (compliant with FDA or MDR/MDD/IVDR/IVDD regulations)
- Familiarity with standard developer tools, including version control, continuous integration, and automated unit testing
