Traffic Management Operations Supervisor

Southland Holdings LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Traffic Management Operations Supervisor to enhance our team. This role is vital in maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of our construction projects, supervising daily activities, and leading a group of Traffic Management Laborers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety by ensuring all activities adhere to company, state, and client safety protocols.
  • Oversee the allocation and positioning of traffic control devices and signage as per established plans.
  • Manage the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of work zones, consistently meeting client expectations.
  • Exemplify best practices in physically handling traffic cones and assembling traffic control signage as required.
  • Educate and guide flaggers on effective traffic direction techniques within work zones.
  • Ensure the organization and upkeep of vehicles and equipment for optimal operational readiness.
  • Effectively direct traffic flow through work sites utilizing appropriate signals and signage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid FDOT MOT Supervisor Certification.
  • Adherence to all safety regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with federal motor carrier safety regulations is necessary.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
