As a Traffic Project Engineer at DRMP, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of roadway improvement projects. Your primary focus will be on traffic signal and intelligent transportation systems design, as well as the operation of Advanced Traffic Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities- Project Engineering: Assist with the design of signing and pavement markings, signalization and lighting plans, and perform traffic signal analysis using Synchro software.
- Crash Analysis: Contribute to the analysis of crashes as part of the marketing effort.
- Operational Analysis: Conduct operational analyses for isolated intersections, complex arterial networks, and freeways.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Professional Certifications: E.I Registration (preferred) or ability to obtain, IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II (preferred).
- Experience: 0 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of MicroStation (required) and Synchro (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
