Job Overview

Position Summary

The Construction Project Supervisor (CPS) oversees all aspects of project planning, site management, scheduling, administrative tasks, reporting, and execution of the designated project(s).

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate project communications. Identify key stakeholders and hold meetings on a regular or as-needed basis. Provide project updates to the Project Executive (PE) regarding costs, timelines, quality of work, and all site activities through daily and weekly reports.

2. Direct on-site decision-making regarding the availability of detailed project plans, specifications, logistics, estimates, schedules, and workforce requirements necessary for the successful construction of the project.

3. Conduct weekly Safety Meetings with all subcontractors present on-site.

4. Collaborate closely with the Owner on safety protocols, traffic management, major deliveries, and site maintenance.

5. Inspect all materials and assemblies upon arrival at the site to ensure compliance with design specifications. Monitor ongoing work daily to verify adherence to design and specifications.

6. Immediately report all Requests for Information (RFIs) and changes in the work to the Project Executive.

7. Assist the Project Executive in preparing monthly Applications for Payment with subcontractors and the Owner.

8. Plan and coordinate Project Closeout activities with the Project Executive and the Owner, including the completion of all punch list items, conducting startup and operational training with the Owner as needed, overseeing final cleanup and turnover, and assisting with the delivery of final documentation such as warranties.

Work Environment

The position is based in an air-conditioned job-site office, requiring site inspections that may involve climbing ladders and scaffolding.
