We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at LifeBridge Health.

Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine procedures, including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and other pharmacologic agents. You will also be responsible for evaluating examinations to ensure technical quality, performing daily checks of equipment, and utilizing our hospital information system (HIS/RIS) to ensure proper ordering and completion of procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures using prescribed techniques and maintain proficiency on related equipment.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders, including patients, colleagues, and other customers throughout the organization.
  • Perform a variety of support duties to ensure smooth operations of the department.
  • Follow universal protocol for patient identification and infectious diseases.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • Graduate of a school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Less than one year of experience.
  • Licensed by the State of MD.
  • Certified by CNMT or ARRT(N) or registry eligible.
