Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of tasks in our Nuclear Medicine department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Nuclear Medicine procedures using prescribed techniques and maintaining proficiency on related equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Performing daily checks of equipment to ensure preparedness.
  • Utilizing our Hospital Information System (HIS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) to manage procedures and patient data.
  • Explaining Nuclear Medicine procedures to patients and answering their questions.
  • Recognizing priorities and managing tasks accordingly.
  • Processing images according to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Formal education in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  • Less than one year of experience in a related field.
  • Licensure by the State of Maryland.
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine (N) or registry eligibility.
