LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Specialist will perform a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine procedures, including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and other pharmacologic agents. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of patient positioning and be able to evaluate examinations to ensure technical quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures using prescribed technique and maintain proficiency on related equipment.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders, including patients, colleagues, and other customers within the organization.
  • Perform daily checks of nuclear medicine equipment to ensure preparedness.
  • Utilize hospital information systems (HIS) and radiology information systems (RIS) to ensure proper ordering and completion of nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Process images according to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • Graduate of a school of nuclear medicine.
  • Less than one year of experience.
  • Licensed by the State of MD.
  • Certified by CNMT or ARRT(N) or registry eligible.
